About the Event
As per Ayurveda, nature's five elements are the foundation of every creation in this world. We have the energies similar to these elements of nature within us. Hence, Ayurveda recommends to spend time in nature every day to strengthen this deeply rooted and inherent connection.Â
Nature nourishes us and invites us to connect something larger than ourselves. It is a reminder that we are more than our body. A walk through the nature build us up and take away the stress, anxiety and worries as we fill our bowl with the warmth of the sun, scent of the trees, touch of the mother earth and gentle sounds of running water.Â
Join us on this walk of refilling our senses with the soothing touch and nurturing of nature. We will hike through the green Great Falls Park in Potomac.Â
Meet at 7:45am sharp at the C&O Canal Great Falls Visitor Center (in front of the the old white house as you enter the park).
(Starting at 9am, entry to park is $20 per vehicle so be sure to enter the parking lot before 8am.)
