Consciousness is like a white light, and the human being is like a prism. Just like a prism breaks down the white light into different colors, we create various colors through various energy centers in the body. There are seven key consciousness or energy centers within us, each associated with different vibrations and functions. These are known as Chakras or Mahamarmas in Ayurveda. On a physical level each relates to one of the endocrine organs in the body.

Chakras are also memory banks that store impressions, emotions and memories. The Chakras are subject to toxic or polluting effects from the trauma, draining relationships, and energetically toxic environments. The imbalance in chakras can lead to imbalanced emotions, behavior patterns and physical challenges.

Join this special series with Vedic Health to increase awareness of your chakras and learn strategies to heal and balance them.
